Meet Nicole

With over 30 years of teaching experience and a Music Education degree from BYU, Nicole Palmatier helps students grow with confidence and skill — from their first recitals to college scholarships. 

She directs top-rated orchestras at Union Middle School and actively serves in Utah’s music community as Chair of South Salt Lake String Federation of Music and Member of Utah Music Teachers Association & Piano Guild. 

She maintains strong connections with music faculty at University of Utah and Utah Valley University — helping students prepare for auditions, earn scholarships, and build confidence as they transition from early lessons to college-level performance. 

She integrates technology into her teaching and her students perform regularly at nursing homes and community events

Lessons

Nicole offers weekly one-on-one instruction in Violin, Viola, and Piano for students ages 3 and up.

She blends methods from Suzuki, European, and American traditions focusing on technical foundation, musical expression, confidence, and a clear understanding of music theory.

  • 45-Minute Weekly Lesson – $200/month
    Ideal for intermediate students ready to deepen their skills and repertoire.

    Best for advanced students or those preparing for auditions and competitions.
